In the canoe pond of the Zuiderpark in Rotterdam a contest is being held for the world championship of miniature speedboats. The contest is divided in four classes in which the boats from the heavyweight class are racing with more than 70 km per hour. SHOTS: mayor Van der Louw from Rotterdam gives the startsign; several shots of the contest.
